HawkerWhere is a free guide to hawker food in Singapore. This page explains what information the site collects and why.

What we collect

HawkerWhere has no user accounts and no sign-up. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number.

When you use the site, we may collect anonymous usage data, such as pages viewed, dishes searched for and stalls opened. We use this to understand which features people use and to improve the guide.

If you tap "Near me", your browser may share your location with the site so it can show stalls around you. Your location stays on your device and is not stored by us.

Stalls you save are stored in your own browser on your device. They are not sent to us.

Cookies and advertising tools

We use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta, to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform. The pixel uses cookies and similar technology to record that a visit came from an ad. Meta may use this data under its own privacy policy.

You can block cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. Anonymous usage data is processed by the tools named above for the purposes described.
